Default Engine and Cylinder Head Identification

Just looking for some information, I do need a 5 cylinder head 10v 2144cc, it need to be fuel injected and be the shorter type cylinder head ( at the back of the head where it tappers in it needs to be the short vee shape), I do have a few engine numbers WE, KL, KE, but can anyone confirm if these engines have the short type cylinder head and are fuel injected or can you add to the list of engines, thanks in advance.

I had a KE engined Coupe many years ago. It was a 2144cc FI but can't recall the head type. Mine was a B reg changeover car with the battery moved to the passenger side

As far as I can recall, the same basic fuel injected)head casting (generally) was used for mechanical lifter heads, whether normally aspirated, or turbocharged. So the base casting for WR/KG is also appropriate to any of the other models- JS/KK. Hence my recent search.

The same goes for the hydraulic lifter variety. MB/KV/MC/1B.

Of course, the cores used to produce those castings varied considerably, resulting in many visual detail differences. And at some stage, the combustion chamber changed.

In the absence of a good plain head, I've(or rather; we've) gone down a slightly different route for my new engine, as will become apparent in the near future, once AndyT has set to.
Worth noting is that in North America, it seems that hydraulic heads on traditionally existed earlier than in Europe, fitted in traditionally mechanical configurations.
