Default My annual outing to the west coast of Scotland

Morning all!

I've copied this thread over from audisrs, as that is where most of the guys and girls on the run reside. Mostly b5's you see, but a few cars that are certainly in the 'classic' category!

Well the annual tour number 6 took place last weekend up here in bonny Scotland! As always a huge thanks to Norm (Norrs2) for organising it! The biggest tour yet, and the most cars, so must have been a bit of a headache to find the accom and organise everyone! Cheers Norm!

It basically went something like this... A few met up in Audi HQ aka Killin on the Thursday night..then pretty much everyone met in Balmacara, which is just shy of Kyle of lochalsh, which is just shy of the bridge over to Skye! I think it was a total of 28 cars and about 40 folk!!! Friday night drinks, banter and food commenced! Saturday morning drive, not starting too early, to a cracking view point on the main land then a drive up over to Skye and a stop for lunch in Dunvegan. Another drive around Skye, taking in a view point at Kilt rock and then heading back to base camp late afternoon. Another cracking evening of entertainment, craic, booze and music had by all! Then the Sunday saw many heading for home, and some continuing on for a third night and a stay in Ballachulish! Everyone home safe and sound by Tuesday!

An amazing run again this year, with folks coming from all over the UK!! Great effort from those from England and the boys coming over from Ireland!! Certainly adds to the piss taking opportunities! Lol.

Here's a video that puts my pish words in to motion... Cheers José and contributors!

That wee vid makes me want to get in the car and head north right now!
A lot of familiar roads.
A good time had then?!

On the road over to Glenelg, the first time I was there the Morgan's owner club popped in.
