Working today so not as much progress!
It's had a replacement ignition lock at some point, hence 2 keys to operate the car, not good enough! Both door locks and the boot lock stripped out and rebuilt to match the ignition. This led me into the boot, the offside cluster was completely dead initially but much faffing about cleaning bulbs and the earth got everything working again. Found that the offside rear shelf mount and one of the plastic clips for the cubby underneath that are both missing. Did search the boot but not there (I did find the screw for the mount however!) Picked up the cab seats, the base foam on the passenger side is perfect so it's going on the drivers side of the Coupe. The map pocket elastic cords on these are the same as the Coupe, in other words knackered, so I've ordered some new elastic and will replace that when I refurb the seats. Once you access the lock itself it’s trial and error for the first lock and easy from there.
It’s one of these things that just makes sense for me and Mark on here pointed me towards doing it. |

There are 7 plates that slide to a pre determined level dictated by the key, you need to swap the plates over (there are 4 possibilities for each slot) and you do them one at a time until they sit flush with the key in situ,
You note the number on each plate as you do them and that’s your new plate sequence for all of your locks. |
