Default Looking into,car transporting.Pro's and Cons?

Was made redundant afew years ago and now looking into setting up own business.
Can you make a living out of,transporting cars?Looking at single car,beavertail.
What are,the Pro's and Cons?

The first thing he did was get contracts from dealerships that suited him and them money wise, he also took a test so that he could tow a second car on a trailer.

As far as what he charged per mile goes i don't know, not really my place to ask, but he made a good living from it all. He only packed in because a job as a manager elswhere came up in a different field.

Typical rate is £1 per mile.

The established companies are able to combine jobs so that they have another car for the return trip

It cost me £200-00 to get the TT from Newcastle to Blackpool if that helps, that guy had another car on board too which was going to Bolton, he said it was great money for a mornings work.

Hope that helps a bit

Newcastle to Blackpool,about 185 mile.
To start off it will be hard,until I get known and get return jobs.

I've been researching and some quotes(Shiply) are cheap.Maybe a return trip or a large transporter.Single loader would be,losing money.
Won't become a millionaire but,might make a good income?Aswell as,doing personal work.
