Default Facebook Classic Audi

I know that this is of little interest, but I have left the CA facebook page. It's getting way to annoying. I put up a screen shot about the makes, models and years of applicable cars (as shown on this forum), to see if anyone would take note...and practically no interest whatsoever . Also given the amount of R8 pics, tuned turbo stuff and adverts from random folk all over the world offering generic 'stuff' that can be branded Audi, well... I just gave up with it.

Still here though. I kinda' like the smell of the place.. oil, sweat and ranting.. Yup. This forum still rocks.

Don't want to start another lengthy debate, we've been there done that. The forum is the real home of Classic Audi, it's a community, a resource of valuable info and banter and infamous thread drift. Paid up members help to keep it going and it is here to stay. The facebook is a supplement to here but is worthwhile having and has introduced new members to here who otherwise wouldn't know about it.

Thanks Dave, i've been very close to my nan, partly because off what WW2 and Herr Romell inflicted on our family in the North African desert during 1943. Not Rommels fault he was just doing a job, but war has it's consequences and leaves wrecked famies behind. Going to miss Dorothy very much. 24th/5/1921 - 10th/8/2017.

Sorry I can't make Aitp,I really wanted to but what with another recent death in the family we just havn't been able to get away, and my Mrs really needed a break. Hope it all goes well, having that sport quattro on the stand will be awsome!.
