Looks like a good 80s fest - was that model Audi available in 1989?

Hope they didn't smash up too many cars of that era!

Likely a Foregone conclusion, each car you see getting wrecked probably had 3 or 4 counterparts for inside / outside work, different takes etc, etc. Will probably watch the film but will be constantly wincing...!

Yep, a bit like Ronin, with the different M5/535i's and various inconsistencies with the S8.

My wife thinks I am a saddo for noticing.

Surely can't be as bad as Ashes To Ashes for inconsistencies, though? Can it?

If the film is half as good as the trailer music it well worth a watch.

my other half has tarred me with that particular brush as well!!

Ronin: enjoyed the Peugeot 406 v6 in that film when it first came out as, at the time, my Dad had one exactly the same colour, (albeit in LX trim with a diesel engine!!) top movie

Worst car inconsistency in a film for me has to be the Ford Mondeo (Contour) in Arlington Road. The first half of the end sequence sees Jeff Bridges tooling around in a red mk1, by the end of the film its a red mk2 (larger headlamps et al)! Jarring as hell!!

My wife, Anna, thinks I have OCD.

It is far more serious than that.

The amount of continuation errors in films/TV boils my piss.

yep, there must be daily conversations in editing suites like this:

Editors assistant: "That scene where the crashed car is driven to that guys house needs to be moved"

Editor: "Do it, no-one will notice the car suddenly has its windscreen, doors and wing intact again for no apparent reason, only to have the damage reappear in the next scene."

Continuity guy ""
