Things to do near Silverstone

Hi

I'm coming down for a track day in February.

I'll be travelling down in the morning, busy there between 12 and 4 but free after that.

Is there a decent market town with a b and b/pub that anybody can recommend nearby and is the British motor museum worth a visit?

Welcome to England. Do you mean Gaydon,if yes it's well worth a visit! I can't recommend anything local to Silverstone as it's not my area although Buckingham is nice about 10k away. There are lots of old villages out that way that should provide excellent accommodation.You just need a member who's local to advise.
