Coupe quattro 1989 Connectors

Rebuilding the top end on the KV coupe quattro and I have these two black connectors I can only find one connector just below the ISV to fit them to, both fit and seem to make no difference to how it runs (sat in the garage) can anyone have a look on theirs for me ?

KV or NG code?
It looks like a KV

The three wire might be the thermotime switch (the sensor at the back of the head)

Your throttle switch doesn't have a connector on it - that should be a 3 wire.

What's the wire colours on the 2 wire connector ?

There’s a good point!

That’ll be the one just above the idle valve

Thanks mike that solves which one goes on that, I think the other connecter has a brown/white and black/white wire in it (car is 100miles away so can't nip out and check)

I'll have a look at mine in the morning as I've got my throttle body off the car just now so everything is easy to see

On mine, that two way connector goes into a brown plug under the ribbed elbow hose to the throttle body

Think my wiring may have been altered. That loom branches off to the throttle cut off valve, thermo time switch and the cold start valve
