Unhappy Time to part ?

Hello folks. I'm sad to announce that I'm contemplating parting company with my 1984 coupe GT. I simply can't dedicate the time (or funds) to take her to a cosmetic condition she deserves to be in. I've had a lot of fun with suspension mods. and firming up bushes (she handles significantly better than when I first bought her). She's still taxed & MOT'd until the end of March. Can anyone advise on approximate value for the ebay listing ?

How rough is the bodywork? Particularly the bottom corners of the windscreen?

Don't suppose you fancy a series 3 coupe? I've regretted getting rid of my GT for the last 8 years.

Will take some up-to-date pics at the week-end - seldom home before dark during the week at the moment.

You're local Andy - you can give her the once-over in person. Worst areas are the front wheel arches. She comes with an extra set of 4 alloys (15" but not on the car at present) and the original steering wheel too. The momo steering wheel might not be to your taste as it's quite small. Loads of history (which I'd have to gather together).

The original alloys are only 13" but I'll get the number for you as soon as I can. However, please read my next separate entry......

Hello folks,

She's poorly (starting problems and running very rough if successful) and in the hands of my tame mechanic. Being the sort of person that I am, I wouldn't sell anything to anyone if I knew there was something wrong. all I can ask is that you keep watching for my up-dating of this thread.

She's much better now - what a difference thanks to my tame mechanic. I've just had to put her through her MOT and tax her too so she owes me a few miles of pay-back before the big decision can be made (the way she's running at the moment will make this VERY difficult).
