All depends on condition.
Basket case £500
Immaculate low mileage low owners £6k
They are getting rare and hard to find so if it's reasonable, just buy it

10v or 20v ?

The 20v tends to be more sought after and generally command slightly higher prices.

I still think they have a ceiling price and anything over £5k would need to be more or less perfect.

Projects are usually around £1000 -> £1500 these days

Recent ebay sales say £1.5k+ for a 10v needing work, £3k+ for a 20v needing work: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_f...t=nc&LH_Sold=1

The last tidy 10v went for £3.6k on ebay about a year ago.

Any pics? The 90/91 cars can be a bit mean on the spec, earlier ones tended to get the headlamp washers, rear electric windows, maybe the trip computer etc. Esp if its a quattro, they were expensive new and Audi knew it, hence they tried to make them a bit more attractive by reducing the price, but also the level of standard spec...

Agree with what has already been said, £2k to £3k should get you something fairly respectable.

What about Kully's minty 90 20v quattro? It sold with high miles circa 165k for £6.5k 2 years ago on car and classic.

Minty maintained cars in the right colour are worth more than many pundits think.

The exception that proves the rule maybe?

I’d be near the front of the queue hoping there is that much of a market, there have been a few S2’s around for similar money though recently... just me, i’m yet to be convinced.... (i’d like to think HOL fits the maintained, right colour, high mileage brief )

It was an exceptional looking car, bought back by the fathers son?

You can buy B5 S4's for less than cheap S2's. I don't think the game of 'Top trumps' necessarily comes into it to be honest. People will buy a car that they like
especially if it's got the goodies to go with it and if it has a special meaning for them or just plain rarity.

I'd say HOL fit's that description.
