Default full service mode

Hi,

I've been very busy this weekend. I've got the car in full service mode

I removed plug as John suggested. I pushed a heated screwdriver in the plug and was able to get it out of the radiator. (thx for the hint John ! ) Unfortunately a part was left behind in the back of the radiator. I think it is kind of a plastic retaining clip... more on that later.

I also removed intercooler because he was completely clogged and some oil inside the tubes. This one needs some serious cleaning after 190.000 miles of usage.
I also noticed a broken wire. The wire is attached to the tunnel that guides air to the intercooler. it leads inside the engine bay and I found it broken right behind the air filter box. any ideas on that???? (see pics)
I think proper cleaning of the intercooler will revive some hp. I will have it cleaned together with my radiator.

Car is now ready for some engine bay cleaning and replacement of all belts.
any other sugestions what I should do while I'm at that stage?

bye
