Quite tight, or torqued correctly?
Someone in the past used the wrong plugs on my car. so the lower threads were full of carbon. When i put in new ones, the plugs felt tight but weren't seated correctly- it was just carbon/dirt making it feel tight. A couple of turns and all was clear.
