Special tools needed to change crankcase seals?
Hi All,
I am looking to change the rear main seal and front crankcase seal while doing other work. The engine is out of the car and I am about to remove the flywheel. Do I need any special tools to remove or install these two seals? Thanks, Ken |

2079 and 2084 to remove the crank damper as the front crank oil seals behind it.
Just need to fabricate a locking device to undo the flywheel bolts and remove the flywheel to access the crank rear main and ideally a seal puller to remove the actual seal, screwdriver can be used but be careful! |
