nasty end alright and not nice to see , wouldve been nastier though if they had hit an innocent family coming the other direction imo ,, not making little of thier deaths at all and im sure they were doing 45mph when it happened , so were taking care and consideration for anyone around them ,, hate to think if it was a car full of kids they had hit instead
RIP all the same though sad loss of life

Although its a tragedy for anyone to lose their lives in such a manner, as others have said, it could have been an innocent family wiped out by them and thats why I'm so dead against giving it the beans nowadays on the street.
The problem is theres too many things to get you, no matter who you are or how competent a driver you are, circumstances can change in a split second but I know theres always going to be a number of people reading this and going "yeah whatever" because thats the way it is and self belief in skills and the plain fact that especially younger people dont have a concept of their own mortality overides their common sense, I'm as guilty as any in my younger days of making questionable choices when driving but experience and mellowing tend to make you a lot more critical of your own and others driving habits. They were obviously giving it some right foot judging from the skidmarks on the street, the debris field and the crash damage to the car. Its also a case as we've seen before of too much money and too little sense. Hated the films btw, I thought they were bloody crass and just plain stupid, I also think they encouraged idiots to think they could drive and stare.... twats. I also think the utter wankers who took parts from the crash scene and tried to make money off of it on ebay need a good birching, low life hyena scum. Dont cane it on the roads, keep it for the track and stay safe folks....well as safe as you can be. |

isn't it just a sign of middle age, though?
i can remember driving like a maniac for most of my 20s not giving a thought about the consequences. it rarely enters your head at that age. i think that you get used to the speed of a car and it no longer gives you such a thrill as it did when you first started driving. i remember going that fast in my mini the the magnetic L plate flew off; hanging the arse end of the mk2 rs2000 round the bend into my parents' street; doing burnouts with the challenger in a built up area!! you just don't think the same way when you're that age. idiot.
