To be honest the girling60's are pretty damn good. I was just hoping to play with the focus discs.. I just remembered I have some 3mm shims though..

I was going to suggest bringing a wheel to try, then realised it was you asking the question Mike

Next time you have a wheel off Mike measure the inside diameter..

I got various sets of 15'' Ronals to take measurements from in 4x100 and 4x108, guess the 'deep' dish Ronals won't fit anyway.

Just done some measurements.. The outside of the caliper is 27mm from the disc. Therefore with a S2 disc the minimum inside diameter for the wheel would be:

(((276/2)+27)x2) = 330mm

The front face of the caliper is 75.6mm from centreline of the disc. So, again with an S2 disc, the distance from the disc face to the inside of the spokes would be:

(75.6 - (24/2)) = 63.6mm

Bottom line is that these don't fit my wheels. They're fine on diameter, but they're far too wide and would require a 6mm spacer to fit for me as my spoke clearance isn't enough.

I had forgotten that I'd swapped my 25mm H&R adaptors to 18mm!! Which means my spoke clearance is very low compared to 'normal' wheels.

If somebody wants them then please say. Otherwise they'll go back on ebay in the new year

Its because my wheels are so tucked, my wheels are 7 x 15 et36, but the BBS E50 is very flat at the back

3, 2, 1 we're back in the room.. took the Focus ST discs back and got a refund. While in discussion with the guy behind the counter he asked if I could use Sharan TDI discs..

300mm x 26mm 68mm centre bore and 56mm high! 5 x 112. Bloody perfect!

All I need to do is swap my B4 4 x 108 hubs for some 5 x 112 versions (I have some from a 100, do they fit I wonder?) then switch my adaptors (I have a pair of 5 x 112 to 5 x 130 somewhere!)
