Default UR GT dash switch bulbs

Bit of a random one - in the dash switches, there is a tiny bulb. I've got 3 dud ones. Anyone know where to get these replacement bulbs? I've tried the obvious places - gsf, eurocarparts, and other auto factors - most look at you with blank faces...

Thanks in advance.....

I'm having a similar problem need bulbs for VDO gauges and heater control panel. I've think I've found the right ones but not sure - 286 bulbs?

I have bought them from Maplins in the past, it's a small capless bulb, can't remember whether they plugged into the switch or I bent the small wires on the bulb and soldered them in. Later I replaced all the ones in my B2 with Led's and series resistors, fit and forget

Yes your right, a replacement bulb would need to be soldered in. I guess Audi's idea was for you to simply replace the whole switch if that bulb went. We don't have that option nowadays!

I'll try maplins - cheers for that

Andya,

May I ask, what shade of silver do you have on your wheels, as pictured in your Avatar?
