Joining Classic Audi
Seems the link to become a paid up member isn’t working.
Anyone able to take a look at it? I have a few bits to sell and can’t post in there until I’ve joined (which I should have done yonks ago!) (only both radiators & fuel tank before anyone gets excited) Jason |

Patience may have to do for the moment, until admin can resolve it.
If your bits are entirely classic audi related, then I’d go ahead and itemize them in general chat (ie. here) for now. If it’s other services, or nothing related to classic audi, maybe not.

As above, just list here what you have for sale, give a price and pictures too if you can?

I might be interested in the main rad, possibly both.
I would just go ahead and post. We won’t mind, and you might be waiting a while.

I’ll see if an admin can sort first, then enter discussions/pics - I actually have no idea on the prices of these things.
Both rads, removed as the y-shaped connector split, and I could source a straight pipe immediately (and a fast ally rad) as far as I know, both are fine. Tank - more complex. It was in my car removed and put in the spare, had this one rust treated/removed and coated, and was meant to sit as a forever spare, but I’ve realised the one I put in the car will outlive my driving time, so I actually have no need for it. The bad is, some of the inner coating looks like it has come off, and I think the gauze is probably covered by the stuff too… but it’s solid, looks not bad from the outside. I shoved it up on eBay yesterday with pics (don’t look at the price… that’s for discussion) Jase |

Also the aircon ‘box’ that sits under the windscreen. Removed it from my car as it did not have any other aircon bits. Would not consider it useful, unless you have aircon and a bust ‘shell’ if that makes sense.

Does the aircon box have the evaporator in it?
I’m attacking my aircon shortly to find a leak. The evaporator is a potential… Otherwise might be interested in box anyway as I have several spares for an ac setup. Once mine is working I’m going to sell it all so someone else can have aircon.

It’s pretty empty, I seem to remember a piece of gauze in there and not much else. For a 36 year old piece of plastic though, it’s not in bad condition.
