Unfortunately the breaker didn't have relay 272, bummer. Did have a few other wee bits that i need though, so not a wasted journey.

Just to complete this thread, I changed out the 272 relay today with a replacement and this has fixed the problem, the fan is no longer running constantly!! woohoo! Thanks for the pointers folks! Cheers Mikes2
