B2 coupe manifold replacement
I want to change the manifold with the engine still in the car, any tips!!
Apart from don't! I'm thinking remove the horns, starter motor, anti-roll bar and that should give me a bit more room

Assuming you mean the exhaust manifold?
Unclip you metering head/ fuel distributor and move it out the way, then remove the inlet manifold, makes the job a whole lot easier Last edited by lefthooker; 26-01-19 at 06:06 PM. Reason: Repeating myself |

You shouldn't need to remove any of the items you listed. You'll need the car up in the air to undo the exhaust where it joins the manifold.
Apart from that everything is done from the top once the airbox and inlet are removed

This... short of broken exhaust manifold studs, there should be no need to move the engine, head or inlet manifold with the right tools....
