Default Breaking 90 20v front wheel drive sport 1990

SOLD to John on here - even better than it being broken! Enjoy the car, was great meeting you earlier.

Finally got the car back off Andy (I was trying to sell it for him on here late last year), so have had time to go through it thoroughly. Cosmetically it's a bit pink on the bonnet / roof / bootlid.

Here's the ad from last year:

http://www.classic-audi.co.uk/forum/...ad.php?t=35528

MOT to July 21st, currently sorn. It's got that cat C marker that's created lots of discussion in the past.

I've added 47 pics to my photobucket account in a public folder - these pics were taken last week - hopefully the link works:

http://s173.photobucket.com/user/cha...?sort=3&page=1

There's a few things that would need doing for an MOT renewal - main issue is the mild steel fuel line from the pump forwards along the floor of the car. There's also a sticky rear caliper (annoying because they were both changed for GSF exchange ones a few years back) and a rattly distributor gear (have the brass one to sort it). There's a couple of spare front seats and foams / covers that are good, door mirrors, mass airflow meter, downpipe, loads of switches and stuff in a box.

Interior cosmetics that I'm not happy with are the usual headlining problem, and a rear doorcard NS that's showing the same problem. I think it's due to the lack of use from the last owner and the lack of airflow through the car.

There's a whole list of work I've done to it over the last 8 years of on / off ownership in the previous ad.

I'll start rendering it down over the next 2 weeks, so let me know via PM what you might want. Alternatively I'd let the whole car go with the spares SOLD!

Link above not right?
Assuming it's this one.... http://www.classic-audi.co.uk/forum/...ad.php?t=35528

I could be tempted if I didn't have enough on my plate/driveway!?

.....actually I could still be tempted.

Any recent pictures?

Is the fuel pipe leaking or just badly rusted?

It's rusty - at the moment fuel tight but if I put a spanner to it - was a close one when I changed the fuel pump last week for a new one.

That's the previous ad that Andy had me post - he's not a member on here. I've corrected the linky.

Really would prefer not to break - but the cat C stigma has left an impression, it's still a genuine sub 100k Sport, I feature on the logbook 4 times as owner! If only it was a quattro. I'd not even consider letting it go!

It's rusting nicely, worse at the very rear where the pipe kicks up to the floorpan where it's most exposed. I daren't touch it in case it fractures but holds the pump pressure fine. Think I've got a roll of bundy tube the right diameter.

Pics in the last ad were late last year after Andy had polished it, looks pretty well the same but can mail pics on my drive when the rain's stopped! PM me your email. It's just a little flatter after being outside a few weeks.

TBH once I've re MOT'd this I'm going to sell also, just going to keep the Coupe GT Fi.
