80 Avant 2.6

1994 80 Avant 2.6 auto. 125k miles. MOT - July 14th, 2016. I've owned the car since April 2011, using it mainly as a daily driver. The bodywork is in good overall condition with a few dints and scrapes that a 21 year old Audi usually has. The interior is tidy with little wear and tear. Mechanically sound, it's quiet, comfy and effortless to drive.

Factory alarm and immobiliser
Elec front windows and sunroof
Boot liner
JVC kd-g821 cd/usb stereo
Towbar

In the last year, it's had:

New front oe Boge dampers
New front top mounts
New radiator
New cam position sensor
New rear disks and pads
New front pads
New Lemforder front swing arm
Transmission fluid replaced

Negatives:

The autobox became slow to drop into drive from neutral after I changed the filter for a shite ECP pattern part

I cleaned and swapped the old Audi one back in. Otherwise, it drives as normal.

The headlining is pinned up at the rear.

The airbag light is on after I removed the steering wheel without disconnecting the battery when I first got the car, I've taken the bulb out as it needs VCDS/VAGCOM to switch it off.

Thats one heck of a car for a mere £650, Ben has a been a regular at the Noggin n Natter meetings and I've seen this car at several meets, its straight and original and at 125K miles its 2.6 lump is barely run in !

The new owner drove it away today and I'm a bit glum it's gone after five years of ownership. I used it for a few days last week to wake it up and check for any issues, and it's way ahead in quality than the Volvo that's replaced it.
