Original or not?
Workmate stuff. 3 of my vice grip things have gone walkies since around 2009.
Black, not Orange. Different plastic. Want some more, but the generic orange ones are about, while black uns is nae. Pic coming... Covid lockdown hermitage living has me meddling with all sorts of shite.

Both my Workmates (black pressed steel) came with orange fittings from new - one was a Christmas pressie from the memsahib 30 years ago and the other was my dad's and is at least 40 years old. Still serviceable but with a few saw nicks.
My mum also used one for repairing her musical instruments; it was the first forged aluminium type and my brother-in-law had that one for his theatre group. That one is at least 50 years old by now. |
