I think we're using the terms DIS and ISV for the same component, although*I'd never heard the term 'DIS' in connection with the MB before this thread. But since the ISV provides DIS I think we're on about the same gizmo.
There's a lot of useful stuff on Phil Payne's pages about testing the ISV. |

A bit of an update - the issue seems to be ambient temperature related. On nice warm days no high idle but on cold or damp days I get the high idle after engine is fully warned up, even this can be intermittent.
When it does it again i am going to test the control puel pressure because I'm thinking the warm up regulator is sticking and and not leaning out the mixture as it should as the engine temperature increases. I Will report back the findings. |
