B3 90 20v FWD - Exhaust Query

Hi all, since recently purchasing the 90 sport from John, I have enjoyed every minute of driving it at every possible opportunity. However, I can't stop myself from thinking that the experience would be so much better if the there was a wee bit more of the 5 pot note heard from the exhaust. I've been looking on-line to see if there are any off the shelf backbox only or full systems available, but it seems that they were only made for the Quattro models, can't find anything for the front wheel drive. Is my only option to have a custom stainless system made for the car, and if so, any places in Scotland which would be recommended? I don't want the end result to be too loud, but would be nice to hear a bit more of the 5 pot note when you give it some beans

Johns car sounds good with a CAC back box. I think CAC started up again a while ago, have you tried them?

I've checked them out online, appear to only cater for the Quattro model of the 80 and 90, don't list any exhausts for the FWD models

These people knocked up a good system for my S8 a few years back. Think it depends on the quality of the 'in branch' staff though, as always.

I think they have a few outlets in the Glasgow/Edinburgh areas.

Back in the days when I had a couple of Audi 80's as company cars, BOSAL did quite a good exhaust system as a replacement for the standard one. They sounded good as well - made my 1985 B2 80 GL quite rorty.
