Yes everything else works fine. All three things are on the same circuit so i guess the problem could be anywhere along it.

Side markers not working would mean broken switch [literary, there's one plastic part with tendency to break from the age], but since they are working - did you really changed fuse number 14? For all three of remaining things the fuse is the only common part - glovebox light and licence plate lights leave at one fusebox pin and dash illumination at another.
And if you changed fuse 14, make sure the fuse there is of a good quality and clean pins [I've seen a couple of times something not working because fuse having oxydized pins and once I saw some crappy fuse which broke apart upon inserting] , and if that still gives no difference, you can try to pull out and push it back a couple of dozen times, in hope that contacts in fusebox have been burnt and maybe this would clean them a bit. |

Thanks. I have changed the fuse, done what you said but i think it's further back on the wiring
somewhere more awkward to get at. Last edited by Alan; 27-02-17 at 11:37 AM. |

Before you do that, I could also suggest you to try different light switch. I haven't experienced such a thing before but since there are three separate pins for all those bulbs in it - one for one pair of side lights, another for other pair, and another for licence plate illumination and interior stuff - it is theoretically possible that the particular pin could become burnt or oxydized - especially likely if, let's say, broken and shorted wires in boot loom causing blown fuse was "treated" by putting higher amperage fuse - I know such a people exists; I once had to fix short circuit in VW LT35 direction light circuit AND change direction light switch, as it was damaged in this way
If you can, borrow switches from someone; electrically all B4, C4 and B5 switches will work, C3 and B3 rounded ones for lighting purposes will work as well - physically - IIRC airbag and non airbag switches have different size of inner hole, your's should likely be with airbag. |

Thanks for the advice i think you have a good point with the switch. i will take it off, the pins may be burnt
or the wiring to the pins. Cheers. |

Well, actually I meant the internal contacts in switch There's a similar and very common fault when headlights stop to work due to burnt contacts, but that's different set of contacts, although in the same section of switch.
