Scottish Road Trip 2019
Hello everyone I am thinking of organising a road trip to Scotland not too late in the year so we can take advantage of the better weather. Route to be decided. Numbers are not too important this time round if there’s only 5 cars going that’s fine but after watching The Grand Tour I want a blast up there!! How about we say end of July beginning of August for starters. Let me know your thoughts.......

The Grand Tour was a cracking advert for Scotland. We were up there staying in Drumbeg, the very same week they were there! That week you couldn't have asked for better weather, and the scenery was just amazing! Mid April, there was still some snow on the mountains but the sun was warm and the sky and sea were azure blue! The bulk of their shoot seemed to be around Loch Assynt and Ardvreck Castle.
Would think a lot of people have got Scottish Road trips planned on the back of it, would recommend recruiting some local driving talent, the Scottish Police *do* employ the use of the odd camera van...

Am looking at Friday 2nd August as a starting point for this if anyone is interested? I was on holiday last week and took the S2 on the nc500 route and last time I did it was 13 years ago I forgot how beautiful that part of Scotland was and the roads etc were just fab and also quiet at this time of year. Caroline put a few updates on via fb
