Default 2.0E Coolant Temperature Sensor.

My 1992 ABT 8C B4 2.0E starts OK but recently doesn't like pulling away when cold and wants to stall unless I let it warm up for a few minutes. I'm guessing it's the coolant temperature sensor that's not talking nicely to the ECU.
Can anyone confirm that it's the blue two-pin sensor on the thermostat housing, part number 025 906 041A.
Thanks. :-)
