Audi 200 5E (type 43)

Offered for sale (with regret) 1982 Gobi Metallic Type 43 200 5E Auto. Well known on the pages of this forum. 91K miles, MOT Feb 2010, Tax June 2009.
Superb condition for a 27 year old car - good paint, exceptional interior. c/l, e/w, p/s etc lots of past paperwork and history - and its a great drive too!

Some of you will know that I bought the car from a fellow forum member and Type 43 'guru' (Randall977) and I have tried to supplement his hard work logically and sympathetically, except for the wheels maybe - I am an essex boy after all!

Its had; new Bosch battery, replaced central locking pump, replaced both CV joints, AVO spring set front and rear, new shock absorbers front and rear, 2 new track control arms (therefore new bushes and ball joints) 15x7j Audi alloys (correct 45ET offset) 4 new 205/60 Vredestein Sportrac 3 tyres (less than 200 miles) steel space-saver spare (185/65) and most recently 2 new rear brake calipers.

The car will be on ebay, carandclassic etc this weekend at £2250 - I know that's near top dollar price so I will listen to reasonable offers. PM me for any further information or questions.

this is a nice car just a wee out of my price bracket hope you get a good price m8 but i really hope it goes to an classic audi owner who give it plenty tlc

Love this car. Have the space but sadly not the money. Hope whoever buys it looks after it and one day I may actually get to see it. And I think the price is very fair to be honest.
