Question A bit confused...

- But that can't surprise many of you!

In icey January I backed my lovely 80 into a house that was in my way. You may laugh!

So where, how, which forums do I ask or make a thread about following:
  1. I'd like to do some bodywork where Sophie hit the wall, I've got Isopon38.
  2. Then I'll have to do some painting, I've got Halfords spray bottles.
  3. Can I put my lights in on my own? (Might get a lovely lady's help on this one though?)

A part from that I've also got a few problems left by garages: The rear wiper has had the relay changed so now it can only give one wipe every time I lower the handle instead of before where it had automatic wipes till I lowered the level again. All the wires that go under the left side tailgate lid hinges were isolated and are loosing the isolating tape once again.
There are so many other small things the garages have consistenly ignored when I've asked for help.
(And may I underline, just in case of any doubt, that I am definately NOT the type that ask for discount nor have ever complained about the bill!)

Will do the last one.

Can't come tomorrow, sadly, as I've got a 12 hours shift. A hard one, may I survive in one piece!

I just got my day shift swapped in to a night shift tomorrow so looking better for moving around in Cheshire. And Whitcurch is not that far away. I will of course have to sleep before I go to work at night, unconveniently!

Can I come see you in Liverpool Monday or Tuesday late afternon?

There is one picture of the damage in my Album 'Current Repairs' It's all in all a small damage and a small crack only in the upper part of the bumper. Have a look!

I've also bought a bumper repair kit at Halfords just in case.
A colleague at work said that super glue would actually be a stronger and better solution? I've got the Araldite.

I got the bumper off myself in the end! Took me three months and finally I went to a garage Wednesday and borrowed a Impact Driver. That was a new word to me!

Amanda came and visited me today and removed some rust from the inner side of my rear light, good girl!

Are you planning on going to the Breakfast club meet?
Id be happy to swap relays for the rear wiper, I wish mine would just do one pass rather than staying on!

LOL - the idea is genious in theory!

Well the garage was actually supposed to fix something totally different, which they didn't fix well either! And I paid full price, as I always used to. And neither are working (well) today. Is it because there's something written in my forehead and I'm the only person who can't read it?

Anyways, I later found out that it is a consistent weakness in the left top corner tailgate hinges with the wires getting torn and worn. On estate cars. Does what I write make sense to you?

Can't make it, no. I got tomorrow's day shift swapped for a night shift so will have to try and sleep. And also we pulled the old lights out so the car is not driveable now. Waiting for postman to deliver the new ones.

Makes perfect sense, it is a common problem. Mine has been sorted in the past too
