That's how I did on my car many years ago driving to UK...

Btw... Not sure about your headlight but I just got me some used H4 DE lens headlamps for my S4 B5 (to practice on a bi-xenon conversion) and there is a lever inside the headlight to switch from RHD to LHD driving...

Made a call to manufacturer(British) and VERY helpful sent photo of how to fit Magic!
Used to have a TT,, and that lever is one great idea.
