Default Seat foam rebuld write up, possible

After many years of it being in the shed I have just rebuilt the foam and recovered the base of my coupe seat with a good s\h unit.

It quite pic heavy, but if there are enough interested people I can write the process up with a load of pics.

But like I said I don't really want to do this if there isn't much call.

Cheers boys and girls

David

Yes please David! I’m just about to start this myself and would appreciate the help! I’ll PM you with my email address if that’s ok?

Thanks
Will

Having just tackled the door cards and headliner in the S2, I’m in the mood for pulling a couple of seats apart, so yes please, be a great incentive and reference guide.

Ok here goes, and with all things techie a few phots have gone missing so please ask if it seems there's a bit missing, and the wife will confirm there is a bit missing.

I am using flickr now phuckbucket want to charge, I don't find it as easy and always seem to end up with a bit of photo code on the thread, but oh well.

I'm assuming the seat is out on the dining room table or kitchen side

Bit that got me before I realised was the plastic covers and the plastic pins, pushed out with a long screwdriver from behind, and gently removed with long nose.

Little spring clips on the hinge pins pull off

Found I needed to remove the seat catch buffers
