The Beggar and Co take me back to RV and Steve Walsh days, Radio London, such good tracks, bit shouty but good, I never minded the Spand's track, got it somewhere in the loft on 12".

Yep, smoothie is was always the way forward.

Still like Chant No1 but prefer the Beggar and Co track. So much of the stuff you and put up is so underrated inso far
as the wider population knowing it. Stonking club tracks but underground which is how we like it anyway.

I'm sure if Beggar and Co had been played more by mainstream radio it would have been every bit as big as Chant No1.
Sadly it's the White sniffy thing going on i suspect as things were still quite racist back then.
