In my humble opinion the best colour/ spec mk2 Golf produced
and excellent provenance 12k is pushing it though.

Looks better on the original montreals. Never had a mk2 golf but i suspect if I did I'd really enjoy it. The passat I've built is like this but with one more cylinder and 4 more valves.

Have one. Not GTI and not 16v, but with automatic transmission. Also 3doors. 1989 year.
Very cute car, completely different from Audis in running, but very nice indeed. My wife use it like a daily car and love it a lot. Completely occasionaly bought in April for ~500 pounds, spent ~250 pounds to make it tidy and replace all weared parts in suspension and engine, install autodim mirror from Vauxhall Astra H and original center console, and now it's running like a charm.
