this is a lot of car for the money. If I could find a nice low mileage example of a Typ 85 80q, I'd be a happy man!

All those spares makes it even more of a steal. Also, getting one of these with ABS is difficult as it was a £1200 option when new and very few were supplied with it (the cars are rare enough already). An intact interior adds to the desirability too - I had a '84 80q with a threadbare interior and finding something nice to put in it was very difficult, I hope an enthusiast buys it and finishes it off - will be a minter with a little work. Good luck!

Default 90 Quattro

Thanks for all the posts, I wish I had known some more of the good points about this car before i had posted the ad, maybe i could have sold it for a bit more ;-)

However, its more important to me that it goes to a good home, the car is provisionally sold to a forum member pending balance payment and collection.

totally agree and hopefully we can see it back on the road again sometime soon.

All we need to do know is work out who bought it!

Well done on selling it mate I am jealous to the core for the new recipient. What a brilliant base for a good, relatively simple project.

Isn't that called evolution?
Was fine with 390bhp - then I got greedy!
