this is a lot of car for the money. If I could find a nice low mileage example of a Typ 85 80q, I'd be a happy man!

All those spares makes it even more of a steal. Also, getting one of these with ABS is difficult as it was a £1200 option when new and very few were supplied with it (the cars are rare enough already). An intact interior adds to the desirability too - I had a '84 80q with a threadbare interior and finding something nice to put in it was very difficult, I hope an enthusiast buys it and finishes it off - will be a minter with a little work. Good luck!

90 Quattro
Thanks for all the posts, I wish I had known some more of the good points about this car before i had posted the ad, maybe i could have sold it for a bit more ;-)
However, its more important to me that it goes to a good home, the car is provisionally sold to a forum member pending balance payment and collection. |

totally agree and hopefully we can see it back on the road again sometime soon. All we need to do know is work out who bought it! |

Well done on selling it mate I am jealous to the core for the new recipient. What a brilliant base for a good, relatively simple project.

Isn't that called evolution?
Was fine with 390bhp - then I got greedy! Chris
