Default Is Ashes to Ashes....

Shite?... Or is it me?

I keep watching it in the vein hope it'll be good and each week it just snakes and rambles along in a series of limp wristed storylines and cheap 80's flashbacks, followed by a bit of screeching about in the quattro and villain bashing... Then we get the 'mind bender' bit with PC 'Half-face' Tyler and some other blocked prostrate with a Mack...

And then it ends...

All very tiresome....

Forgot about it tonight, Lewis was tired and fell asleep on the settee and I was just crawling around on here, was about 10 to 10 when I realised. Will catch it later in the week

Bless...

I'd save the electricity and time and spend it with the kids... It was pretty 'Damp weekend in Southend' to be fair....

It's been said before Ian... you are not alone on this one. The series is shite and not a patch on Life On Mars. They are flogging a dead horse with a whole lot of rubbish story lines matched by a bunch of poor acting. Even Mr Glenister's DCI Hunt has become very, VERY tiresome.

Against my better judgement, I downloaded episodes 1 ~ 5 last weekend and watched them all on the train on Tuesday and Wednesday. Dull, very bloody dull. Can someone just tell me how it resolves so I don't bother with the last three?

Then there's the poor old quattro, displaying all the sure-footedness of a 1973 Cortina I was only saying to James the other day, why couldn't they have chucked some overly stiff coils and over-inflated old hard tyres at it so at least it'd appear to be spectacular. Any friends who have watched any of it usually comment on the ill-handling quattro.

EDIT: yes we all know sideways isn't fast but it is "spectacular"

EDIT #2: maybe it's rose coloured glasses but they producers/writers/director(s) should have spent a year watching The Professionals or even The Sweeney for ideas

EDIT #3: Keeley Hawes is a dog! I'm fecked if I know what some of you lot see in her!
