As a big si fi watcher the original was one of my fav films, just hope this one lives up to the first.
Total Recall was good because it was so cheesy, and Sharon Stone in a bit of lace had nothing to do with it. The remake I couldn't get on with. Hopefully Vangelis do the score. Following on from the first Blade Runner, did anyone read the next 2 books ? never made it to film but did a lot of explaining and left some real teasers. |

I don't think I'll bother with this as I just know it won't be a patch on the original cult classic. No Rutger Hauer or Sean Young and the music isn't by Vangelis

I'm not so sure there's a great need for pessimism guys,Ridly Scott is directing. Having missed all the rubbish in the intervening years, the latest Star War film,i saw "The Force Awakens" under Disney control/franchise was great and captured the original brilliance of the Original perfectly! Read all the reviews. I was and still am a massive fan of the original and happily saw it in the Cinema the first time around. Absolutely awesome film and soundtrack. So i have a feeling that as Ford is in the 2049 film,as he was in the latest Star Wars film,it will be at the very least decent and crazy to dismiss watching it because the original was so awesome. Miss it at your peril Carl and David. https://youtu.be/ccJJ0uxigVA |

Written some time ago, I could give you the basics of the story line but I don't know how much the new film, if any is like them, might spoil it, might not even be anything like the books.
