The thinking being, if Mark gets an audi plug with all its pins populated in the right order for the delta, he can have an easier time modifying his existing plug. My experience, as described above, i thought could possibly help him if he encounters any differences in wire colour etc
That plug is nothing uber, just generic plug according to ISO standard and because of this, it could be taken from cars I mentioned. There will be just six pins in A plug anyway, as the other two are for some features basic stereo aren't using. As for colours of the wires, that doesn't mater at all, after all, all that is needed is to connect proper wires to proper pin, according, again, to ISO standard.

The only possibly Delta specific connector is C connector - CD changer, line out etc features.

Anyway, I'm asking what kind of connector is in particular B4, as I have no idea, as 98% of cars of such age have crudely fitted aftermarket stereo installed; I actually don't remember that I've seen any B3, B4 or C3 still with factory stereo in it

The black connector isnt "uber" or indeed delta specific, but the position of some of the wires in it are (ie not iso standard) this is what i was highlighting. The position of the second permanent live / s-kont in particular are different to what was already present in the vehicle. Colours were only mentioned to help mark as he wanted to know what went where

The b4 has (would have had) the normal and mini iso plugs like very many other cars u are correct
