Default audi 80 coupe b3 2.3ng need advice

Hi all,

once again I am stuck haha.

So my temperature gauge keeps, dropping all the time, when stationary it kind of get up to 90, but once start driving, it will even drop to 50, and heater air is not really that hot, its kind of warm, but nothing crazy, and sometimes will go cold.

so the first thing, I changed thermostat, and coolant temp sensor (2pin one)

did not help, so I though, maybe, it was just a dodgey thermostat, so bought a new one, swapped it over yesterday...... still doing the same thing.

Audi 80 coupe b3 2.3ng

any ideas?

The NG uses the mfts 4 pin sender for the gauge.

It's common for them to read low on the move and they'll read closer to 90 at idle or urban speeds.

If the cabin isn't getting hot, it's possibly a bleeding issue with air in the system

yes that's the right one. New style senders have 3 pins

Despite the web address being .co.uk, they're a German seller. It may be easier to source from a UK seller
