Anglesey track day
Well what can I say, could have not picked a better 3 day in May if we had tried, yes it was a 600 mile round trip to Anglesey in North Wales but well worth it in so many ways, the planning and organization prior to leaving was spot on, the traveling down was a hoot with the thoughts of having a second car and more track time and the normal five guy banter, with average age in the mid fifties we are all quite street wise and don't have great expectations of speed from the cars and have no problems moving over to let faster cars past, it was what I would call very nice and gentlemen like on the track no pushing you off the track and passing on the wrong side just wait till the appropriate moment and push past, I did have a problem in the morning on the sighting three laps behind a blue car, you were told to keep up in crocodile fashion and the pace car would take us round on the racing line a little faster each time, this eejit in the front on me did not keep up with the pace car and didn't know the racing line form the toothache, anyway after me spitting the dummy oot and Graham riding shotgun finding it on the floor and pushing it back in all was well, photos below, please view both video's below, the second one was in the evening in the tent with beer and a guitar.
Both cars on track having a little fun. BMW Chased down by Mk1 Escort. Audi R8 V10. Motor complex from the hill. Breakfast. After a little walk in the evening, the photo is of Cwyfan Church ( Church in the sea ) https://youtu.be/2DMSzULVVbo On track video. WARNING!!! some language problems 22 to 25 seconds in to the video, we will gag him next time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ESdDOj2-GE |

Your mate on the Guitar is good. Did you go under the Conwy estuary on the A55? |

We can make some glorious noise with the S8 through that tunnel, only a couple of miles away from us.
