Default Ur quattro C.V. boot kit

Hi all, Ur quattro was up on the hoist for a check over and found inside of the driver's side rear wheel covered in grease, good sign that the CV boot has a split in it, that is not a problem to replace but finding a CV boot kit is, looking for help to locate two C V boot kits as they seem to be very thin on the ground, my 1984 car has ABS the C V joints are quite large 108mm back side of C V joint and 24mm drive shaft, the length of the boot is around 85mm, any help would be most appeciated before calling Peter at quattro corner.

From memory years ago I sized them up from a catalogue Lancia Delta 1.6L Petrol early years.

I got a boot for one of the inner joints on the S2 a few weeks ago...… was a Shaft-Tec boot, very pleased with the quality and fit.

Also the neoprene type are super strong.....I'd have one of these over a rubber one even if they are the universal type.

According to the catalog, the boot for the inner 108mm CV is Spidan 26109, and the outer is Spidan 26041. Spidan are made by GKN, so OEM quality. Both are available on ebay. I suggest that you change all four at the rear, certainly both on the same shaft.
It's often cheaper to buy these kind of things from Germany, and often significantly so.

Yes I have seen the boots on Ebay but they are only 90 / 92mm, I have measured the outter CV joint on my car at 108mm.

The inner joints are 108mm diameter. According to the Spidan Catalog.....

26109 Boot kit
Ø1 [mm]: 24; Ø2 [mm]: 108; H: 124[mm]; Material: RUB/Metal;
addition+)Cap; BoreØ: 10.4[mm]; Bores No: 6;
PitchCircleØ: 94[mm]

The outer joints are a different size......
26041 Boot kit
Ø1 [mm]: 24; Ø2 [mm]: 92; H: 83[mm]; Material: RUB

The inner and outer joints are completely different, as are the boot kits.....

Outer Boot : Audi part # 431498203D or 443498203A (ABS)
Inner Boot : Audi part # 443498201B

All the audi part numbers are getting hits on ebay too. Use Spidan or Lobro for OEM quality. Avoid the spurious brands, these parts are too cheap to fit cheap false economy items.....
