Default Interior cleanup- smokers car

What, if anything, is going to help improve the interior of a smoker's car, to freshen it up a bit? Without breaking the bank.

I have already considered emptying the ashtrays!

Wet vac the carpets works great failing that one of those cheap steam machines and go over all the seats and carpets

Or this

If you can stretch to the £44 one I think that will be the better one also great for engine bays

Polish carwash at the end of my road. £19 I think for in and out and they do a sterling job. Cracking pub with real ales round the corner whilst you wait too!

Taking my Octy there to remove waterstains from my interior!

Just take up smoking and you won't notice.

Ozone! Interesting, will look it up, I think they use them in dope farms don't they? They must work.

febreze is the cheapskates option (i have used it in the past!) but i'd recommend getting your car down to mark's place in dalry and get it properly blasted with his environmentally friendly chemical warfare approach. he got some amount of stoor out of gene's upholstery!!

Even cleaned up, It hasn't the value to warrant major expense.

Our Ur was a complete ashtray in 1995... We took the seats out and the door cards and rear parcel shelf.... Moosed and Wet vaxed the carpets, thoroughly cleaned the interior and wet vaxed the seats, then dried them outside the car before re-fitting... it worked a treat....
