Default door removal on gt help

Hi
Ive stripped my crashed coupe down to pratically a shell. Someone wants the door, how does it come off. Had a quick look at the weekend - do I have to drive the pins out of the hinges? Anything else?

Cheers
Andy

Two bolts on the inside of the door skin where its hinged, can't recall size, maybe 17mm or 15. You'll need a socket extension or a universal joint, can't remember which one I used now.

Before unscrewing use a jack and a bit of wood to support the door. Makes it all that much easier.

Hi Andy, I don't know if you remember me had a front bumper off you couple of years ago (white one), with reference on your breaking don't suppose you have a few clips that hold the skirts on, down each side please! Paul

Hi paul
Yes I remember yourself. Hows the audi family? Are these the clips your talking about?

If so, how many do you need? Will next be at the car saturday, so could get a few and send them to you. Just cover postage.
Regards
Andy

Anything else?
..

Don't forget to pull the interior trim, so you can get at and disconnect the wires for the window regulator/motor.. (Assuming it has power windows..) .. That's a much easier job with the door still firmly fixed to the car.. ..Oh,.. Same for the power mirror connector..

Good luck!
