Stopping tornado red from oxidising

Being running round in my recently purchase UR for nearly 2 weeks now and happy to report I'm loving it, apart from......
On Monday and Tuesday we have had very heavy showers followed by baking hot sun and yesterday I noticed that where the water had pooled on the roof the paint has become faded

The car appears to have a good coat of wax so why has this happened and what do I use to remedy it?
Photo of car but you can't see the patches I'm talking about due to poor quality.

I should add that it has only happend on the roof.

My first CQ was tornado red and honestly, there weren't two panels matching in colour - but I was 19 at the time and everyone else was in 1.1 fiesta's so I didn't really care!

Still looking lovely looking and as long as it's got a ticket and no faults you'll love it regardless

Im wondering if you could stop this is to by having it resprayed using basecoat/clearcoat thats got a high UV protection built into the clearcoat?

Its the UV thats doing the fading, reds are always the same.

My advice have a word with Kully on here what he dont know about painting isnt worth knowing.

Dunno if you can machine polish it and put a decent wax on it , I know I have mine base coat and lacquered for this reason

I have a sealey polisher but needs a new head, looked at buying one but had no idea which head and what product to choose from the vast choice out there!
I currently have Autoglym super resin polish and Collinite 476s wax are these suitable for machine polisher?

Can't remember what pads I have tbh but I'd give a gentle cut and then put the colonite on it and build it up

Personally tun I would use farecla g6 and a medium soft pad then it needs to have a glaze I would recommend poor boys black hole and natty's paste wax as it has uv protection property's that should protect it

Or if you like I'll come and do the whole car as long as you make a food brew

Only thing I've found that works on single stage red paint is using a sealing wax first then using a hard wax on top as your LSP. Menzerna make a very good one
The problem you have is everytime you wash your car, you are also stripping it of it's LSP and this, you will need to seal and wax it at least every 3rd wash. I used to wax my old CQ20V every 2nd wash and never had any problem with it fading through oxidisation. That said, it did add 20-30 minutes every other week to my life which i won't get back!!
