Stunning work,
Alloy block Can I have one please

Im sure all the weight save will make a big difference, best of luck with the her !

Went to Shelsly Walsh last weekend to see the KEM' shortie and the modded 80q, it's amazing what reaction the Audis still get at the events, something of a real passion went and goes in to thease machines.
Great to see,
hope to see your rally car some time in the near future Ray.

many thanks . i must addmit that at first it was just another car i was rallying , started in a mk2 escort 1600 then 2ltr, mk 16v golf gti, 3door sierra cosworth , and after owning 6 quattro turbos over the years incl a rr 20v which i drove to germany with 49 other urs , i decided to build and rally a quattro in 2002/3 , have been rallying it since 2005. the car has been made more competitive each year. last year we had 4 9th o/a results and many stage times that where in top 5 so if my plan comes togather the car will be 50kg lighter , brand new engine and new motec. currently saving up £500 for the lithuim battery 3-4kg as opposed to 12kg total. im not rich im a self employed milkman and work very long hours to keep the money coming in. the car does sort of rule my life but im in it to win it. . with the goverment currently looking at allowing closed road rallying in mainland uk it could be a great time ahead for rallying in the uk . it realy would be nice to see a lot more audi fans/flags flying on the stages to show there support. it would be a lot cheeper to rally a scooby , but when we do events like the north west stages in blackpool and there were [ few years ago ] 17 imprezas and we beat around 12 of them ,that makes it worth it

Superb! Huge admiration for your dedication and skill. Can you get Audi themselves to give you some sponsorship or have they opted out of such help?

Having their logo plastered all over your car should be worth a lot I would have thought.

Look forward to more news and your posts about future races.

I compleatly agree, there is something special about compeating against relativily newer cars and supprising a few faces with our 80's buggys.

Lets just hope if they get the go ahead for the road rallying that they don't do a noise restriction lower than 110db
