Default Donington Historic Festival 2014

Getting things ready to head up this morning.

We'll be there with the Group B club again. Running on a demonstration course set up on the Melborne loop, for the 3 days this year, not 2. Nearly twice as many cars as last year, 4 quattros, Delta S4 and 6r4's (amongst many others), so should be good. On top of the main event of course .

I was just looking back at last years photos

Anyone going?

Just a big thanks to anyone who displayed on the qoc stand as we had 41 UR's over 3 days at this show which was most appreciated and a fantastic sight.
Also thank you to the many people who visited the stand and admired the cars and shared stories and memories from times gone by.
There was also a stand by Audi Reflections where Coxy,Tonks and a few other regulars off here had 4 ring examlpes which caused much interest amongst Audi enthusiasts and show goers alike.
And finally the guys from Rallying With Group B who as always stirred up lots of attention on the track.Tim C and Nicky,Andy Krinks,Nick Barrington and Adam Marsden all in attendance with their respective cars adding their own magic to what was a very busy schedule on the tracks.
Anyone with pics of any of the stands or track action please post.
Phil.

Wonderful stuff.... But, being a whinging Southerner, there's s couple of 'observations'.... 1) Is it possible for an 'events' type thread so those less connected can be aware of, or plan for such events? (or did I just miss something), and 2) how come there's so few photos posted...? Y'all camera shy?

I organised the qoc stand which was part of our National Annual Gathering which also included the AGM and our first Annual Dinner on the Saturday night which sold out.
A few had cameras but some are not on here, however JJ may be able to transfer pics from qoc forum.

I've mentioned likewise in a few places. I need to plan at least 3 months ahead for the days off, and invariably, finding a clear description of an event is often unsuccessful, so keeping it prominent and in peoples minds is not so easy, either.
The calendar is out of date, so not much use.

Annoyingly, I missed Donington, due to a fairly late offer of a job interview (which turned out to be a waste of time)
