Default Audi 80 1.8 1986

86 c PLATE 80 for breaking or sell complete.

The car is absolutely immaculate in OCEANIC blue metalic with unmarked grey interior.
Reason for breaking is auto box is faulty but still drives.

This car is too good to break due to gaurenteed 66227 miles on clock with all but 2 mot's and service book stamped up to 52130 miles in december 2004, original dealer order form stating sale price and price of factory extra metalic paint ect.

This car with no plates on it and a wash would pass as a new car. Im reluctant to break but with enough interest i will, or will sell complete. Whats it worth?.

Nothing is "too good to break" but if it really is that good im sure someone would have it off you. Seems a shame to break a minter for the sake of a gearbox. With a busted gearbox its probably not worth much more than its scrap metal value though, so I recon its worth about £150?

I've not given much more than that for it. Picked it up on ebay unseen knowing i could get a wage on it over the scales with scrap £175 a ton last week when i put an LDV convoy in for £310. best thing for a convoy.

Hi, I might be interested. Whereabouts are you & is the problem with the box, that it drops out of gear?

Hi there BigT im'e in Leeds West Yorkshire The car drives but wont select any gear higher than second and the whine gets louder the faster you go, from what iv'e been told by a box specialist its due to lack pf use due to the 66000 miles and its a pinion that colapses in the box. If you want anymore info give me a message,Thanks Bryan

Sounds like a prime candidate for a manual conversion.

Hi Bryan, Ta for quick response. I'm down on the South Coast, so perhaps a bit far, but Lankytim has flagged what I'd potentially have done with it. I do go to Leeds about 4 times a year, but maybe a bit far & expensive these days! to drive it back given it's condition? Can I have the weekend to decide? If you want to send me a PM re what you are looking for that would be appreciated. Glen.
