Default 100cs Quattro 1993 - Just picked one up!

I just bought a 100cs Quattro - manual trans - with only 70,000 miles on it!

It's my first Quattro - runs quite ragged, gulps down gas, and stalls at low rev occasionally, but it rides (and smells) like an Audi! (my fifth).

Plugs 1 and 6 were fouled a little, but I haven't done much to it yet except change the oil and clear out the air filter chamber. The oil was overfilled due to a stuck plug I had to have surgically removed. My most expensive oil change! Also I've run through two tanks of high test gas with some additives to clear out the old gas - replacing fuel filter next.

Electronic dash needs a lot of TLC - I may take the dashboard out and re-solder every single joint because it seems to act up when the temp is cold. (feedback welcome!) Also grease or oil the internal fans while I have it apart.

None of the windows work, including sunroof, but all of the fuses are good.

Also (biggest bummer) someone took out the BOSE radio and cassette and replaced with a nice new JVC... but there is no sound! (help)

Happy to connect with others who have this vintage or similar year and hear how yours is running!

Hi vjah and welcome to the forum

You will get a better response if you repost (with pictures!) in the 'Newbies' thread rather than resurrecting a six year old car for sale post
