used to be one that came into to our garage very often circa 9 years ago. had some nice wheels on it (18s thin spoked) apparently was tuned to 300bhp, different suspension antiroll bars etc. had a nothelle badge on the dash.

got written off in a bad crash.

My UrS4 has a Nothelle ecu

Not sure exactly what the power hike is but circa 265-270bhp from 230bhp sounds about right

I think the blips on the down shifts in the first clips are magic; the induction snort is unlike any other five pot I've heard! Do you think over 40mm intake valves?

I think the key to the induction noise is the rpm it's operating at... The engines in the later ITC/DTM days sounded similar and it was through naturally aspirated engines breathing freely at high rpm, they worked at 8500rpm all day long.


This sound is very similar...
