Rear demister relay

My rear glass demister isn't working, and the light doesn't light up in the dash. I wonder whether it's the relay? Does anyone know which one it will be? Number? I guess it will be n/s behind the glovebox?

The car is a 1985 coupe quattro kv.

It would appear that circuit is not relay controlled

Blown fuse or, more likely, burnt/oxydized contacts in the switch.

Relay for demister, integrated in switch, appeared at the end of eighties for B3/C3.

Cheers msh, its probably the switch like you say - there's evidence of melted plastic...
