Default Anyone here own / have owned classic Beetle?

Just wondered if anyone has one and what they are like to drive etc.

Owned in the past. Slow unless you highly tune it, cold if the heater channels are rusted and wet if some ones wielded the floor/heater channels without unbolting the body from the floor.
However good memories of the ones I owned.

Well, my friend from DSRLeasing bought one for his wife. I have only driven it once when she was driving us home from a party. Seems like a comfortable car, but pretty slow - didn't pay attention to details as I was very, very drunk

Doesn't matter. Been told on no uncertain terms:- no more cars!

Shame, as I was extremely tempted by this, and only down the road too.

Beetles are ace! However there are a hell of a lot of tarted up basket cases out there so you have to be very, very careful indeed. The MOT history on this one alone says avoid to me and I don't know what's going on with those mutant front wings
